I was given the room below the night manager. "He's quiet!" As I listened to him roll his chair across the floor all night. Dropping pens, tossing stuff and talking to whomever. Needless to say I did not sleep. The fire department right down the street only added to the noise. Walls are paper thin. The room itself was fine. Bed fine. It was clean. Hot water eventually came out HOT. Bring a bath plug. They removed them all. I think I just got the bad room at this in. I recommend getting a room that faces away from the freeway/highway and NOT under the manager.

Over the years, we have stayed several times at the Aladdin Inn. They have always been extremely courteous and helpful, going out of their way to work with us on our unique needs as it is typically a stay related to a medical visit at the VA or Casey Eye Institute. The location is great and the rooms are always clean and comfortable.

My son was in the hospital and we stayed here since it was so close. We have had nothing but kind and warming welcomes. With a kid in the hospital that's all we ever asked for we have had the same service and help thru our whole jerney and we love staying here.

First, their service is great. The location is kinda tricky but once you know to spot the gas station its easy. The rooms, in a double bed kitchenette I have to say is not really the best layout. The bathroom and beds are so close, they never really thought of a heavier set person. I had to walk sideways plus bend to get to the bathroom. Also, none of the kitchenette rooms have handicap accessibility. Most rooms are either upstairs or downstairs. Sadly, I have to sacrifice my need for kitchenettes due to now needing accessibility.

The beds were to firm for my liking and the pillows were basically useless but the room was very clean and the shower was hot which is all I wanted after flying.

Good, clean rooms in a quiet neighborhood. The front desk staff and housekeepers are helpful and accommodating, this is generally just an all around good place to stay. Will gladly stay here again next time I need a hotel room in Portland.

Great value for money. I stayed the night of March 21. The room was clean. I did not experience any of the issues noted in some previous reviews. The hotel is just over half a mile to the ferry terminal and the historic downtown area. It is on the shore. Many rooms have some view of Pt Townsend Bay. You can stroll directly onto the beach at any time of day. In the morning, you can see the sun rise over the Cascade mountains from the beach. The staff is accommodating. I booked directly with the hotel with a spur of the moment, same-evening call.
